Form 8 "G"

Kupalle celebrate on June 21. It is a traditional and the most loved holiday in Belarus.
Kupalle is a pagan summer celebration of fertility in the name of a female God - Kupala. Lately it was renamed into a Christian celebration of male saint-Ivan Kupala.
Kupalle usually involves youth going into a forests and the meadows, wearing flowers and grass garlands, dancing in karagods (circles around fires), jumping through fires.
A popular kind of Kupalle was fortune-telling – putting wreaths on water. People believed that on Kupalle night the fern has a very special flower-"paparats-kvetka"- glowing in the dark. If you find the flower, you'll be happy. But no one has found "paparats-kvetka" yet.

August 23 – Day of State Statistics Workers
Because according to statistics, there are 9 guys for 10 girls. Probably everyone has heard these words from a famous song. More than one generation sang the lines that everyone loved. As you can see, statistics cover all spheres of life, because at all times accurate data have been of significant importance in the life of society. Statistics Workers' Day is a significant
occasion to remember the people who work with numbers every day, prepare reports and data on various industries.
Tamara Kupriyanovna Genyush has worked for 39 years in the statistics department of the Oshmyansky district. For the first two years, the woman worked as an operator, then as an economist. During this time, a huge amount of information has passed through the hands of a specialist. Since 2012, the woman has been on a well-deserved rest, but she does not forget her workdays. It is always difficult to work with numbers: you need to keep a lot in mind and avoid inaccuracies and mistakes. However, work has always brought her pleasure and joy. Tamara Kupriyanovna notes that a lot depends on the team.
After all, it is in communication with colleagues that most of the day passes. With special warmth and tenderness, she remembers her colleagues: A.I. Yakhimovich, G.V. Efimova, E.Ya. Radkevich, G.I. Kupriyanchik, T.S. Kohanovskaya, who are also now on well-deserved rest. Many moments are remembered by a woman from that distant and beautiful time. With the advent of new technologies, the work has become much easier. Computer programs help to manage a large amount of information in a short time, systematize data. Previously, the process of data collection and processing was more time-consuming, but a friendly and cohesive team easily solved any tasks.
Tamara Kupriyanovna often visits her young colleagues on the eve of the holiday, shares her experience, and is interested in new programs. She is a welcome guest in the statistics department. The woman notes that Irina Yanchevskaya, the head of the department, always remembers former employees, tries to keep in touch with everyone, congratulate them on holidays. Now a young and friendly women's team is working in the department.
